heres a fun chart that shows average internet speed for the fastest 12 countries as at quarter 3 2016. Australia doesnt even make the list, neither does NZ or many other Asia pacific countries. With the strong up take of streaming services to mobile devices the speeds just dont add up to make it enjoyable watching. So if you are in a city centre you might get an alright speed but anyone a bit further out will probably struggle. This is one of the main reasons why i think WGL has such huge potential. Some data savings and speed increase for people in the burbs can only be a good thing.
