I wasnt trying to understand the problems they had, I simply gave you the FACTS - over the long term, they promise, the story sounds good & people buy in, and then they fail to deliver - consistently. I dont like to see any company fail, and I hope GCY' current strategy eventually turns it around, but its been a long time coming.
It would be interesting to know what happened in the 50s and 70s when inflation went ballistic. Did PoG move up to compensate, or did producers all go into C&M mode? Yep if PoG stays at current prices duting this high inflation, the whole sector will be in a world of hurt, however I continually hear $3000 hedges are being offered at present.....now why is that?
