Could be people worried about the wait for next news...and, of course, buy on the rumour, sell on the news.
You'd think TSV would be popping up on a few takeover radars now though. Pretty cheap way for a larger company to get a bucket load of gas on the cheap. Alcoa would probably like to be dealing with a larger partner going forward too. Just throwing it out there.
