it seems like you really have your head up your arse. DTR has not wasted any time at all. Show me another gold project that has moved from zero to 1.1m ounces and a comprehensive, nearly pre feasibility level scoping study in under three years?
Now, with this new administration, everything is going to be easier to get off the ground. The tax cuts will encourage investments and most likely drive inflation but that is a good thing for gold.
Crypto is having its Harris moment, I blip up due to political backing and optimism, let’s see what happens when the dust settles. Facts have not changed in terms of USA debt, BRICS or the Geopolitical situation. Do you really think that US creditors are going to accept crypto payments instead of hard assets? I don’t think so. Do you really think that the economies that currently have trade surpluses are going to invest that in USD? and finally, do you really think that tariffs are going to hurt China? When was the last time you checked on how cheap everything costs to make in China and how efficient they are at it? The Chinese couldn’t care less about the tariffs regardless of what they say publicly, and even if they did care, they would just devalue the yuan and bingo, problem fixed.
Gold will come roaring back when the dust settles and the gunslingers are back in the White House.
As for DTR, it will make hay while the sun shines. The last administration wasn’t overly sympathetic to mining, the incoming one certainly is. From where I sit, DTR has timed its run perfectly.
