Because they are hinting they have found a strong gas intersection right near a proven reservoir. Fair enough. But the gas is cannot be identified and is contaminated by the air core drilling process anyway. It’s a game of furs what I’ve got in my hand? They should have kept this to themselves because it’s just a rampant tease. Now they will go to market. Very soon. This announcement is telegraphing the punch. I would prefer they waited until after the first hole, but they will not.
People in the market who are a lot smarter than Footrot have seen the trick and marked it down.
