IMO with the way CWE buoys lift in the water column vertically and reply on that as their power stroke I can't imagine a block big enough as a gravity mooring for full scale and full power tests ?
I wasn't previously aware of this restriction? Is it because they have to leave the site as they found it so no drilling or is there something special about there area? I guess they could probably see a exemption as demolition of a massive gravity foundation unless it is modular will be a expensive problem later . Wonder if they could get a suction mooring accepted if the bottom is suitable?
Interested in what other think and will they build the mother of all gravity foundations or just set the overpressure low so they don't lift the mooring if they install a full scale over there?
