Mr Steven Ezzes.

Background

Mr. Steven Leo Ezzes is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Airlie Opportunity Capital Management L.P.

He has over 30 years of investment banking, merchant banking, and investment management experience. Mr. Ezzes’ experience encompasses security analysis, investment banking, and merchant and principal investing as well as extensive experience in hedge fund investments.

Prior to joining the firm Mr. Ezzes was a Managing Director of K2 Advisors, L.L.C. a multi-billion dollar hedge fund of funds he joined in 2002. At K2 he was a member of the Management Committee, Investment Committee, and the Director of Hedge Fund Research.

Mr. Ezzes joined K2 from Thomas H. Lee Capital, LLC where he was responsible for Mr. Lee's investments in hedge funds. Mr. Lee was a Principal of Thomas H. Lee Partners, one of the world's largest private equity firms.

While at the firm he served as a Managing Director from September 1999 through March 2002. Additionally, Mr. Ezzes was a Managing Director at Société Générale, a banking and financial services organization, from 1998 to October 1999.

He was a Managing Director of Scotia Capital Markets (USA), an investment-banking firm from November 1996 until 1998. Mr. Ezzes also served as a Managing Director of S.G. Cowen Securities Corporation, a subsidiary of Societe General Securities Corp., from June 1998. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director of the High Yield Securities Group at Lehman Brothers from 1992 to 1994.

Mr. Ezzes has also held senior management positions at investment banks including Goldman Sachs & Co., Lazard Freres & Co., and Morgan Stanley.

From January 1995 to October 1996, Mr. Ezzes was a private investor. He has been a Director of Friendly Ice Cream Corp. since 1995 and serves as Member of Nominating and Audit Committees.

He has been a Director of OzEmail Limited since April 1996 and is also a Member of Compensation Committee and Member of Audit Committee. Mr. Ezzes served as a Director of Perkins Management Company, Inc. (“PMC“), the General Partner of Perkins Family Restaurants, LP, Perkins Restaurants, Inc. (“PRI“), The Restaurant Company (“TRC“) since February 1996.

He resigned as a Director of TRC in October 1998. Mr. Ezzes received his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts Degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles.
