Thank you for your post.
I have spoken to management yesterday evening and I was informed that
because there are 3 Indonesian Departments involved, Mines Dept, Dept of Environment & Forrestry Dept, there has been a delay of a few weeks.

While the accident only involved the Mines Dept, the other two departments
have input. The roadway between Talang Santo & Way Linngo goes through
an area which has been mostly logged already but is the responsibility of he
Forrestry Dept.

PT Natarang Mining ( an Indonesian company 85% owned by KRM is the operator of Talang Santo and Way Linngo) are dealing directly with all 3 departments and management are confident of a positive outcome.

The locals are mostly employed by PTNM and supporting services and farming and they have agreed to work part time in the mines rather than some been made redundant until Talang santo is back in production.This provides good local support for the re-commencement of Talang Santo.

So in summary, while there is always risk in gold mining in Indonesia, there are
evident benefits such as low cost of production (KRM's costs are almost
half that of small Australian goldminers). So the classic question is KRM
risk/reward equation right?. A drop in value of the AUD will also benefit shareholders

IMO, the rewards by far outweigh the risks and that's why I have been accumulating.
