It is the ASX-World we either have to accept or to stay away from. BOTs are used at all stocks, no longer limited to the top 200. Whatever the purpose, manipulating or just simply buying / selling, they are part of today's world. The only way is to adjust to them and if possible, taking advantage of them.
I often use them at micro-cap stocks to optimise my trading. Over time I noticed that small quantity selling / buying BOTs are programmed to avoid retail orders. That means, often my orders stop them from buying / selling if placed in front of a queue. Only retail orders then can move the price up or down.
The computer languages / codes have changed over the decades but the " Thinking Processes " those are based on are still the same as the human behaviour hasn't changed. Different story when the brain work is completely done by the BOTs. That's when I will quit as I can't process billions of possible scenarios in a millisecond.
