as have I sat on many a committee, conferences or board rooms. I can tell you woke has made its way in only in the last few years and it’s atrocious. Decisions are being made on what’s woke or perceived as such to appease to left wing shareholders (pension funds) or SJW. Or even just done to hide some horrible things they are doing as a ‘look over here though we have some rainbow flags, but not here at this rotten crap we are involved in’.
Most large organisations have some skeletons among a minority of staff. Simply because they are so large and their will be a % of people who are inherently bad. Just like the general population. It doesn’t make it right, but 100% compliance and squeaky clean employees is unrealistic. It’s how you handle it that matters. I’ve seen mid level managers sacked for very little to make an examples, yet executives who should be fired for sexual harassment go unabated.
