How many shares were available at .20 cents higher? Check how many bought at $6.85.
For some reason you think you can just sell as many shares as you like at $6.85. There may have only been $200,000 traded at $6.85, these are real people with real orders you need to buy off. Therefore your profit is not 20 cents x Number of shares you have. It's 20 cents x the number of shares available at that price.
That's why you need to look at VWAP.
It's fine, 40 years in the market and you still don't understand.
