well no, these 3 reasons do not explain it.
gold explorers have horizon 10-20 years. And wouldn’t just get rid of some really good projects because of (temporary) low gold price.
Other DRD mines somehow managed to sell their gold not at $300 but at $1000 during that period? Was labor force issue applicable to that specific mine only?
