This is a great annonucement simply because you don't patent something that doesn't work!!! They have obviouly had great results with the methods they are using. So much so there is a need to patent them. We need to keep them safe and sound and give WBT the advantage over other Reram chips.
These patents may not make the most exciting announcement. But in the long term they will be the back bone of future partnerships, revenue and shareholder value.
