IMO. I'm less excited about those physical aspects, and more intrigued by the theoretical possibility of this tech. The speed of Weebits ReRam has the capability to be used in processor caching. In theory, it's entirely in the realm of possibility that they could make an AI chip, where cpu/gpu, storage and RAM is one integrated circuit board (like what neurons currently do within our brains).
That's what I believe Leti are trying to achieve and why they renewed the partnership.
