Not really. R&D is tricky, even if your product is relatively straight-forward. All sorts of unexpected things can happen. Setting timelines carries a big risk of investor revolt when you blow out your timeline by a few days. I've been watching that happen on several other stocks I hold.
Anyway, I wouldn't think commercial fab is really the issue of main uncertainty on the 4DS timeline right now. Both 4DS and Weebit are still at the stages of confirming a commercially useful product can be produced.
