No Groins, I meant $600. If you read what I wrote, I was comparing WBT's potential in 3 to 5 years to ARM's valuation in 2020. And I'm not dreaming about future market cap, I am considering the realistic mid term potential of a company I am heavily invested in (which is something I am unavoidably going to do as a long term investor, on the basis that I think the baby steps are very likely to be achieved, and all the steps thereafter). If you look at the Pitt St research reports, comparison to similar companies is a standard way to estimate a company's value at a point in time. It's not pie in the sky stuff. I am pretty sure that Coby, and Dadi when he says "big company", are thinking about similar (or bigger) valuations, but they are not allowed to say them for obvious reasons. And if you read Surfguy's excellent posts, the explosion of disruptive technology can be an extremely quick exponential hockey stick curve (Coby has referred to a "tornado" I think). In other words, while semiconductors take time, a lot of the time has already passed (7.5 years for me), and this company could get big a lot quicker than expected. I'm also posing the potential mid-term value because, while a lot of current holders will already "get it" and think similar, I think Australian investors, in general, don't understand tech, and most wouldn't really have a clue how big this company could get - a lack of vision, and a fear of thinking big (a bit like a self-directed preventative tall poppy syndrome). For example, I have been telling friends for years to look at WBT and do a 10 hour deep dive, because I think it could be one of the biggest companies in the world. While a number of friends have tipped in a few grand as a punt, without doing any research, only a couple have taken the time to seriously investigate WBT, and then get very excited. It doesn't mentally process for people that they might really have an opportunity to invest in the next big thing, and that they might really be able to make a huge amount of money - like it's a fairtytale that happens to people in America, but not here in Australia. Which is fair enough, it is an extraordinary stroke of "luck" (for us) that WBT exists, and that it is listed here on the ASX, and it works and is being commercialised right now. It's not something that normally happens, so people don't realise that it could be worth $600 a share in a few years.
