The WE-5 PT's skin issue is not totally unexpected considering...

The WE-5 PT's skin issue is not totally unexpected considering they are trying to balance high drilling pressures, thus increased mud weight to control the well, and then encounter (from information in Strike's 1/7/21 release - please see below) higher than expected permeability in the Kingia than was expected from WE-2 & WE-4's data.

IMO a slight speed bump. As well, from Strike's 1/7/21 release, "it is believed that the reservoir contains substantially higher porosity thanhas been measured to date" - obviously excellent news for reserves.

Other critical information from Strike's 17/8/21 release:
- "supports West Erregulla as a large, connected gas field"
- "Analysis of the well test data shows equivalent virgin reservoir pressures to that of the other West Erregulla wells which creates a high degree of confidence that better quality reservoir that is synonymous with the West Erregulla gas field exists beyond the near well bore zone."
- "Gas flows have been measured down to at least 4,670m subsea which will increase the overall gross rock volume of the field" [significantly below WGO's possible 4,630mSS GWC]
- "The field wide pressure regime is consistent indicating no compartmentalisation"
