    Big mines only keep perhaps 1 month diesel on hand.

    My question was how are they going to store 6-12 months’ worth? They would need to fill the pit!

    I take your point that it’s a critical consumable, but yeah…if you can find a way to safely store that much you’d have a great business idea!
