This deal is absolutely absurd. The components add up to ~4x currrent market value. How he got them to transact on that multiple given current market conditions is simply stunning.
He starts again with a profitable company, no debt, massive boon of revenue to the cloud business, a new board with international connections, and $80M in the bank to hunt new acqusitions when cash is king and there will be deals everywhere. One thing we know is that JD knows how to get a deal done on both sides, boding well for potential growth by acqusition moving forward again. Absolutely amazing result for shareholders and about the best possible result anyone could have hoped for
