Thanks VOGC. I certainly didn’t appreciate the perils involved in drilling these crumbly limestone carbonates, especially without fresh 3D imaging. It’s important to realise that nearly all Cuban onshore oil is from shallow reservoirs and that one can be more realistic about our chances down deep. But it’s not over. Let’s hope oil revenues from the upper sheet, hopefully with enhanced net pay will reset the market’s assessment of block 9’s potential.
