MAY versus I*Z = Apples and Oranges. Vastly different. That B-Wave they are currently experiencing (in that other sandpit) is perfect to sell into IMO.
As for MAY and AP - Directors stumping up their own money is simple "signaling".
Heading into August we will see (IMO) -
* More detail regarding Pad#2 build
* Further mention of Sherritt#1 rig (due for release from current drill end of September)
* At a guess - MAY two well (shallow well) programme into U1B
* Remediation of 1B and - maybe, just maybe - more talk of remediation of A3?
* Collection of progress payments (receivables) from Sonangol (per JV Agreement)
* Perhaps more talk re the 3D they previously flagged
Q3 is a "build" quarter for MAY. Q4 an "activity" (drill) quarter. Simple as that.
"It will go under 2 cents" - is the sort of comment we expect from an I*Z "fan".
Sell that B-wave Fishy.
