He does have a surprising diplomatic mindset for Ukraine which is unusual because for many geopolitical issues he does not. For instance the hypocrisy with Israel support and promising unlimited military support.
At the end of the day Trump knows Russia are a strong military with nuclear weapons and it is in the worlds best interests to negotiate an end and stop escalating like Biden did - Providing long range missiles and F-16s etc.
The world fails to understand that shutting off the funding tap and military support forces Ukraine to the negotiating table and stops them sacrificing their people. Right now Ukraine are a proxy for NATO and Zelensky has been selling out Ukraine for the benefit of other parties. Trump is totally right in the path he is taking on this, I just wish he would keep consistent and do it with Israel.
