USD$5,000 would equate to almost AUD$8,000 gold price.
Star is generating a profit of ~$50M at the current AUD$4,600.
Even at AUD$1,000 less than current, the Star is making $30M+.
At the USD$5,000/AUD$8,000, it's making about $75M.
All of the above options/scenarios are risk-free, with no capital outlay from DRE.
Just a matter of what the gold price will be, and how much we'll make (I'm super happy with the current gold price, or even $500/oz less, let alone higher prices).
And that's just from the first 20,000oz from the top 110m of the Star (they've got plenty more drilled ounces there already per Dean's latest).
