Sounds like a very good opportunity for COB to be involved in the process or supplying cobalt and other metals from mine waste while reducing the acid content to lower the environmental bond. Apple is a founding partner of Regeneration with an aim to use 100% recycled cobalt by 2025 in all Apple-designed batteries. Fingers crossed COB will be able to work with companies like Apple to supply cobalt from mine waste while cleaning up old mine sites around the world. Helen mentioned Australia, North and South America and Europe as preferred locations to feed into the IRA & CRMA supply chains.
