Thanks beaches - I have done/did plenty of reading on Kalina version 1&2 vs ORC & it does generally stack up as more efficient at low temps BUT much of the research is at lab scale and/or using Chemical Engineering modeling software. There are not enough 'real world' at scale reference sites to really nail it + long term OPEX vs ORC.
If it is so much better, I mean 20% - 40% more efficient is HUGE, why has it not been adopted in many low temp applications/sites ? ORC is a know open source tech that engineering firms seem to go for/like for whatever reason.
Hopefully that will change - in Ross's words - 'In the NEAR term'
