The Taycan EV weights still weighs 340kg more than my car, my Panamera has a 1,250km range and uses 7litre/100km on the open road. Obviously sucks the juice when I floor it.
The Taycan is a nice car but I definitely don't like the full glass roof in the Australian sun.
Besides the Panamera is a far more luxury car with more room without all those batteries.
Maybe an EV is OK driving to pick up a loaf of bread in Melbourne but here in QLD a round trip to Brisbane is 600km so a EV would be useless for me.
I only know one person who owns a hybrid and they plan to get rid of it, I have no friends or acquaintances who'd even consider an EV. Then again if you live in Melbourne or Canberra and don't drive far then an EV might be OK
The carbon fibre wheels however do interest me as I think they look great, might even be able to get some wider rims than Porsche standards. ( Could be cheaper too, Porsche wheels aren't cheap.)
