I think you'll find it's a more of a short delay straight through system based on what the company chooses to release. ASX only gets involved for say a TH when time is of the essence to protect market integrity, or the release raises a red flag about disclosure rules the ASX is not happy with. Timing is very much controlled by companies and any number of excuses to delay release of results...
