Looks like a big improvement in how we communicate with the ASX/shareholders and a nice set of slides.
Anyone know if there is recording of the presentation available?
Hard to know what it means financially, but I guess we get an update in the quarterly soon.
One thing I still can't get my head around is the rebranding and positioning.
All the cover / break slides have the Excite Technology Services (Corporate facing) logo on it.
All the other slides have the Excite Cyber (Client facing) logo on it.
That doesn't make sense to me, as the ASX isn't client facing.
I gather Slide 15 was meant to answer this question, but this raises a few as well.
Slide 15 notes the corporate entities as much as anything, need to track earn outs, etc. Fine.
It also notes that
"it is important for customers and prospects to see that we see IT and Cyber Security as two different but related and complementing capabilities."
But that doesn't come across from a branding perspective anywhere in the new brand structure, it's all Cyber focused.
I'm not worried if they sign a contract with the Excite Cyber entity to manage the financials, but to achieve the statement above, I think the Excite IT brand needs to live on and have a presence.
I don't think it's anymore complicated that the mock up I made below. ExciteIT just needs a logo update to fit with new branding.
But at the moment, that's not the client experience on the new website, it's all Excite Cyber branding.
Yeah, they have a technology tab, but no ExciteIT branding. It needs better differentiation to achieve the statement above.
