I think I should have added that whilst the Future Made In Australia is a big budget item, by far the major funds will come from private investment. The whole theory is that sovereign seed funding/guarantees then allows private investment to put cash in with better risk reward safeguards. For sure historical capitalists would shake heads at such a thing. However the West has stopped for pause on ideology aka IRA etc, China's party funds have poured into mainland projects for decades, resulting in a near 90% world monopoly in critical minerals refining, makes it hard to argue against this type of seed funding in many ways.
