it amazes me on hotcopper how many people say something but fail to read a company announcements, which clearly state what they are doing - trading halts and reasons for it are classic but draw different conclusions.

your statement could be taken that the $7.5m hits the account straight away which it doesn’t and has conditions to it.

the transparency of the board has been very poor in the whole sale process. Disclosures have been drip fed or had to be extracted from the board. not acknowledging another party had offered better terms than TGC. How is this in the best interest of all SH who the board are elected to represent?

Even the ppt yesterday stated for the first if the deal fails to go through TGC has a further time period to try close it exclusively. very strange for any deal to get more than two chances that the company can still try make a deal happen exclusively. What doesn’t the board get SH don’t want the deal to through go find something better. This is only valid if it gets voted down again on Monday.

directors have obligations to sh to keep them informed. Holding back details is a derivation of their position and the asx has very particular rules about disclosure requirements.
