West Erregulla may well hold over 7 years of supply for a 250tj plant. If Lockyer has the same then then that would give a Waitsia size plant over 15 years supply excluding additional discoveries.
Does Gina want or need all the baggage that would come with an outright purchase, peaking plants, multiple exploration permit commitments etc....?
Does she even need an A&K.
Flooding the market with gas will just mean you get less $/gj.
Im with @invertedva in thinking that this is not so much a takeover, i reckon its about prising the prize WE/ED from the hands of STX, which SN would have outright rejected.
