I actually share your sentiment on this khop. To balance that thought, JH has only been in the role for a couple of weeks and as a board member previously, she would have been more about the company strategic directions as opposed to the details/weeds. So we ought to be prudent in not forming the wrong view of her yet. That said, acting CEO or not, I would have expected her to know enough to speak without reading almost every word off a written script. She sounded a lot more confident and knowledgeable when it came to the financials as well as the strategic review. This perhaps offers a hint of where her focus has primarily been concentrated on.
@Spockie the search for a CEO isn't that straight forward. It isn't as if they are dime and dozens lying around. It could some time take more than a year to find a suitable candidate. I also suspect the board may not be spending too much time on the replacement CEO simply because JH is running the ship for now, and if the company is sold as a result of the strategic review, then the replacement CEO is redundant.
