Parties trying to decrease the share price put 1 or 2m for sale at 1 to 1.5 cents higher than current market price. Then if other parties need to sell for any reason they are more inclined to do so at current price rather than wait behind the 1 to 2m stacked in the sell queue.
This has been ongoing for STX in the last 6 months.
