What SN is trying to tell you is that shorting is an uncontrollable event. So he can spend his time beating his head against the wall on uncontrollable events writing stupid letters for appearances or he can concentrate on taking decisions which he can influence or control based on the info at his disposal at any point in time. What lots of investors don't realise is that ASIC do not give a fishes' tit about shorting - in principle - in fact they support it! So SN is up against that policy - an uphill battle to prove intent of market manipulation in breach of the companies act. As SN confessed the two failed wells in succession has stuffed STX credibility and consequent market sentiment - great excuse to take a shorting position.
