The virus spread involves Morbidity (the rate of disease in the community) and Mortality (the rate of death of the disease). Looking at the daily Morbidity Numbers (20,000+ infections) I see that the Daily increase over the last few days has been a similar number and as such the Daily % increase is declining. ie. if 10,000 infections today and 12,000 tomorrow the increase is 20%. If the day after that is 14,400 (ie another 20%) then the disease is still largely uncontained. Given the 2 week incubation and the flattening of the increase in numbers (drop in the daily % increase) I would suggest that while we might see more numbers internationally ( and associated hysteria) the numbers are flattening and the next few weeks will stabilise. The Mortality rate has been consistently around 2%. Based on these musings I would expect in 4-6 weeks time to see airlines offering crazy low prices for flights and accommodation to anywhere. WEB margins (in real terms) will be squeezed but volume will be higher than usual. So, hold , don't listen to media, novel coronavirus is not going to ruin the existing business, believe in a company that is focused on their internal efficiency and who have an expansionist view of their business.
