I think you and I are having similar thoughts Maxpowerz, but you said it much better than I did. Thanks to both you and jb206 for some stimulating posts.
With regard to GF and the murkiness of Weebit's current dealings, my thought is maybe GF is the foundry with which Coby said we almost had a contract signing until they decided they wanted a deal that covered all their production geometries/nodes rather than just one. That may explain why any information from Weebit about GF has simply dried up. I imagine that such a situation would require absolute discretion about the financial and other details of such an arrangement.
Time will tell, but that could get the shorters' attention if it comes to pass.
