unless 4DS can produce a Mbit chip for testing and then develop a selector in the next 18 mths I think that 4DS could be dead in the water.
As it has been written 4DS will be sold this year and possibly could be in the next couple of months if the latest batch of tests work out ok.
Whoever buys will need time and money to setup and advance the development.
Just my opinion
