The best thing about this announcement IMHO is the Q&A session on tomorrow. My take on this is that it's just a good old fashioned 'roadshow' where management travel the country and/or the world to tell (sell) the investment story to fund managers, brokers and advisers.
Unfortunately there are a couple of problems to the old way of doing this currently for WBT.
1. COVID prevents management from being able to travel at the moment.
2. The recent increase in market cap will have bought WBT into the investment universe of many fund managers who may ordinarily arrange to meet management to better understand the business. WBT can only conduct so many zoom meetings in a day so if the phone is ringing hot with enquiry, the best way to get information out would be to do one zoom meeting with everyone...
Needless to say the story is good and getting better so I am hopeful the SP should do well in the second half of the week, and beyond.
