the first level demo chip qualification in Leti .....expected result and foreshadowed for some time ...level 2 demo chip qualification now commences....level 3 requires a customer design which is still in the offing down the track
that demo chip was received by leti on the 14th July 2021....so it gives a clear timeline indication on the qualification process for those who were perhaps wondering...receiving the skywater offering and qualification completion level one is the key
but that's just an opinion in the noise here....
...it allows them to significantly advance the discussions with customers ....bet it does...completed qualification of the commercial chip from skywater and customer integration will be nice to hear about when it happens
