Yeah but a distributor typically doesn't push their customers to the IP Company (Weebit in this instance).
Like you said its different model specific to semiconductors.
The only thing you need to worry about at the end of the day a DBH isn't going to spend time/effort/money/resources to onboard a technology which isn't going to make them money. The net effect is they sell WBTs technology to THEIR CUSTOMERS.
In this case, its a win win for everyone because the customer gets what they want, DBH sell wafers and WBT get paid.
