I'm thinking the times a customer has a SoC design with embedded flash, then replaces that flash with an IP block of WBT ReRam purchased from DBH/GF without contacting WBT, in those situations the foundry would be the distributor/wholesaler etc.
Obviously there will be a huge variation in customers, some working with WBT, some buying directly from the foundry.
