The DEMO chips need to be characterised and qualified.
The chips on the Skywater production line need to be qualified as a completely separate process and milestone as well.
Obviously the testing and characterization of the DEMO chips bodes well for the Skywater process and shows managements thorough approach.
I dont think we will see a customer sign an agreement before the DEMO chips have been qualified, but will happily stand corrected if that ends up being the case.
