Weebit can easily increase the size of the memory.... at the expense of silicon area.
Question is how much extra space will be required to go to 4MB, and is EMASS happy to increase their chip size to cater for the extra memory? Is it cheaper to purchase more 16nm silicon, or purchase an external memory chip? How much better is the performance for having on-silicon memory? Will WBT be part of the 16nm SoC?
