From my experience with this BOD, I do not hold any concerns about their integrity. I have been very impressed with the stewardship over the best part of the last decade. While a necessary part of business, I am never a fan of capital raises, and on some occasions (not all) been unhappy with the timing of the raises. Each of those times I was not happy with, have proven to be the right call by management and have insulated us from needing to raise out of necessity which is where the dilution damage is really done. Every capital raising has always included an SPP giving existing holders the opportunity to participate bar the last one. The reason the last one didn't was because the ASX would not allow it, as the price of the raise was too high in comparison to the actual share price (the instos paid more than usual). I even recall one capital raise that was oversubscribed. Instead of reducing everyone, the BOD rewarded long term holders with a full allocation and cut applicants who only purchased to flip the shares.
My trust in management stems back to COVID-19. The board and management were very quick to act, pausing executive payments and cutting unnecessary cost to ensure the company could traverse the downturn. Other companies I owned were more preoccupied with raising funds to ensure they didn't have to stop paying themselves.
The transparency of the company with quarterly interviews and a willingness to respond to shareholders queries whenever asked is second to none. Coby fronts up every quarter, regardless of good news or bad news.
I don't begrudge incentive shares and employee options for WBT employees. These guys have achieved on the smell of an oily rag, what others such as Samsung could not achieve with billion dollar budgets. It is only fair they benefit from their work. Keep in mind, a lot of these options were issued when the share price was down around 30 cents so its reasonable that more were issued and success was not guaranteed back then, so they could have been worthless.
I am just grateful that I have the opportunity to piggy back on their brilliance and own a small part of this company.
