Pretty much says it all.
I.m not at all knowledgeable of the ins and outs of fabs, but in other business contexts, if i was looking for a way to do that, i would run some of the trials in qualification with the customer's specs, since they have to run with specs anyway.
Totally speculating here. Someone with more knowledge please feel free to shoot that down if it's not the way it works in a fab. Also, please feel free to offer alternative theory, since without an announcement, this is just guesswork atm.
Re waiting, some investors prefer to wait, and that's fine. Each to their own
