the imperative is to lock in early adopters - get the tech tested across customer product asap - that locks in production windows, lets the foundry dedicate a line and sets revenue goals - revenue follows the initiation of customer contracts
once customers are in the door and booking production windows on the calendar you have transitioned to a commercial concern not an R&D exercise - SP /market will respond accordingly
next significant announcement needs to be early adopter / customer contract and it should be close
