PMICs are in just about everything, including smart phones, headphones, computers, cars, SCADA, but are incredibly cheap, usually sub $1.
at 130nm wbt will have the advantage of lower power consumption than flash, great for portable electronics like smart phones and earphones, but no advantage for desktops, MCU, SCADA etc where flash power is not a concern, unless cheaper.
