Trading on the market is more or less like betting on a horse race, and does little, if anything, to contribute to supporting the success of the underlying company. I've already made a great profit from Weebit's work but have only put a few grand directly into their working capital. This was an opportunity to send a little more love their way and also provide the working capital to accelerate the production goals. It helps me to feel more like a genuine investor and less like a sponge/parasite.
