REVENUE:
Three types of agreements
1. Foundry: licensing the technology to the foundries and the technology transfer fee. That is two payments from foundries.
NB: the first agreements will have milestone hurdles given we are a new kid on the block
Leading geometries have higher fees. Negotiations are under way right now so being circumspect.
When they start manufacturing then we get a % of the water cost - a royalty.
This is all foundry revenue style.
2. Customer direct: Licensing fee and NRE fee. Initial deals are going to be a little unique given we are starting from scratch. Want to feel like they are lowering their risk
Then we get the royalties once their is mass production.
3. The limited discrete market: we manufacture and then package these chips. Chips sales is x $’s per chip. Lots of variations determine the price. No more details.
