Respect your view but I wholeheartedly disagree. I think there commitment to shareholder engagement is outstanding. I appreciate and value the opportunity to hear from them directly, ask questions, and look them in the eye.
I believe that their willingness to front up to shareholders on a regular basis reflects very well on them as individuals and to the company culture that represents - openness, honesty, transparency etc.
In my view the cost of flights and accommodation is excellent value for money. They are on an Australian exchange and therefore should be available on a regular basis to Australian investors.
Can you imagine the squeals if they behaved like some other company CEO’s who never come to Australia and front their shareholders.
